Rematch against Huntsville Tasso Lake
Local League team 1 traveled to Huntsville this weekend to play a Hunstville Tasso Lake
Parry Sound started slow, fell 3-0 early in the first period. This truly caught the Shamrocks by surprise as some believed it was going to be an easy game.
The rest of the game was tight as Parry Sound started skating to match Huntsville effort. Chad Herbert scored an unassisted goal to get the Shamrocks on the board in the second. With the score 3-1 Huntsville added one more to make the game 4-1.
Parry Sound started to apply pressure, a long pass by Cooper Mahon sprang Herbert in on a breakaway to get the game to 4-2 with about 2 minutes to play.
Parry Sound pulled their goalie, but the bounces didn't happen allowing Huntsville to score two empty net goals. Bring the final to 6-2.
Next game is this coming Saturday against Huntsville McDonalds.
