Thursday night action in MacTier
On Thursday the Optimist Novices traveled to MacTier for a rematch with the Muskoka Rock.
These two teams are very evenly matched. They both played a tight defensive game limiting the chances for each other, going into the third period 0-0.
A couple of mistakes lead to goals from the Rock to steal what turned out to be a goaltenders game with the final being 3-0 for the Rock.
Bram Palmer made 22 saves out of 25 shots, The Rocks goalie, Nathan Hunter making all 15 saves, stopping several breakaways in a well earned win and shut-out.
Practice is cancelled tonight, Friday Nov 6, 4:30pm-5:50pm. The Novices practice next week on Monday and Wednesday and then travel to Schomberg for the Red and White tournament on November 13th..
