We know that school has just finished, but did you know that the calendar is already filling for the open skates and rep tryouts? Check out our website to make sure that you're following the calendar(s) applicable to your child(ren) so that you're prepared for the start of our new season!

The U9 MD (Minor Development) program is a hockey category for players under 9 years old that our Club is introducing for the 2025-2026 hockey season.  The U9 MD program is designed around skill development rather than competitive play. The program consists of four levels of instruction, designed specifically for young hockey players. Each level features practice plans that follow a defined progression path, introducing and refining skills in skating, puck control, passing, and shooting.

Registration is now open for the 2025-26 season. The Hockey Club encourages players to register before the hockey season begins so that effective decisions can be made regarding the number of teams in each division, particularly for Local League. This causes some significant difficulties, as it pushes the whole season back while people are still registering. Registration will close August 31st, 2025. The Shamrock Hockey Club is proud to support our longtime partners at Rotary, who have been exceptional sponsors and friends to our organization for years. Since taking over the tournament, Rotary has continued to demonstrate their commitment to our community. They're currently seeking additional baseball teams to join their upcoming tournament (Strikes Against Cancer June 14th), as well as volunteers to help with various tasks throughout the event.
