U11 LL2 ATR Fireplace, Local League (Parry Sound Hockey Club)

On Saturday October 25th, ATR Fireplace travelled to Huntsville to play Team Lake Life Remax. Beau Hamel scored ATR's only goal, in a tight 2-1 loss, with help from Blake Tabobondung-Williams. The team is still searching for its first win but they're moving in the right direction with passing, working together and solid goaltending by Oliver Adams. 

Today was ATR Fireplace’s first game of the season! And what a game it was. We saw some strong players emerging and taking the puck to the net. Thomas was holding his line really well and Brynn with her back checks and hustling to the net. I’m proud to say the amount of passes these players made to each other, working hard as a team and including everyone when they got to the net is something to be proud of. It was a goalie duel for two and a half periods until SM Grey’s Max Payne was able to spring a break away and snuck one past which turned out to be the game winner. 

January 20, 2024 our community came together of all ages to celebrate 100 Years of Hockey in Parry Sound.
