On a busy weekend the team travelled to Sundridge on another snowy day to play the other Almaguin Ice Devils squad. The team arrived looking to keep up their excellent play and all at the same time, as everyone was behind the same snow plow down the 124.

The first period saw the team executing their game plan again as they started off hot. Hudson French was able to pounce on a rebound to start off the scoring for ATR with Beau Hamel and Blake Tabobondung Williams assisting. The team had a few unlucky bounces and the Ice Devils were able to tie it up, 1-1. The team didn't panic and stuck to their game plan of pressure and getting to the net. They were rewarded with the go ahead goal on a break away from Beau, unassisted. As the period wound down Emmett Madigan slid one past the goaltender with the assist going to Andy Morgan taking ATR into the second up 3-1.
The second period the team continued to build on their momentum. Brynn St. Amant showed the boys, girls are great at scoring too, getting 2 goals on one shift. Both goals were assisted by Lennox Baker. Just like that Parry Sound was up 5-1 with over half the period still to play. Almaguin wasn't going to go down without a fight though as they were able to get one before the period ended.
Almaguin had comeback hopes alive as they started to put more pressure on and snuck another in, getting within 2 of Parry Sound. Rallying around Oliver Adams the team buckled down and went back to work. Lennox took the puck and skillfully deked his way down the ice to find the back of the net. Oliver was tested with a few high quality shots but kept the comeback hopes just a dream. Hunter Upton was able to find a loose puck and restored the 4 goal lead. Brynn and Aubrey Begin assisted what would be the last goal of the game.
They excitedly jumped over the boards to rush Olly and celebrate their back to back wins. Player of the game went to Finn Power for his hard work in front of the net and defensive play. Still searching for his first goal which won't be far off with the way he is playing.

The team is rounding out the weekend with a battle against their classmates as they play Parry Sound’s McNabb Lumber. A game which will have everyone saying “Let’s Go Shamrocks!”
