On Saturday November 8th, Parry Sound’s ATR Fireplace travelled to Huntsville to play Algonquin Orthodontics. Parry Sound came out firing for the first period scoring 4 goals, with a hat trick from Beau Hamel assisted by Aubrey Begin, Caroline Tobobadung & Brynn St. Amant with a pair. And another tally by Andy Morgan from Lennox Baker.
In the second period Huntsville came back with the counterpunch scoring two goals, Andy Morgan got one back with an assist from Aubrey Begin. The third period saw Parry Sound deliver the knockout blow scoring 3 goals to Huntsville’s 1. Beau Hamel got a pair with an assist from Brynn St. Amant, Owyn Kowaluk and Caroline Tobobadung. And a single goal by Lennox Baker from Thomas Swanson.
This gave Parry Sound their first win of the season with a final score of 8-4. Those of you counting at home know Beau Hamel scored 5 goals! And a surprise of the century he also got player of the game!
