On Saturday November 1st, ATR Fireplace travelled to Gravenhurst for a back and forth game with South Muskoka Red. South Muskoka Red opened the scoring, and ATR’s newly named Captain Sonia Thorogood tied it right back with an assist from Beau Hamel. The second period saw Red take a 2-1 lead heading into the third where Sonia again tied it up with an assist from Lennox Baker. Red came back again with another goal making it 3-2. This set up the Captain for her first ever hat trick with an assist from Logan Leduc. The game finished in a 3-3 tie.
The player of the game went to the Captain, Sonia Thorogood for bringing the puck to the net, leading by example and encouraging her team.
