The Optimist Club Novices had a great weekend of hockey!

The Optimist Club Novices kicked off the season with a solid effort vs Elmvale on Sunday.  Good job guys, all had fun despite loosing 8-3.  Score board did not reflect the game as we were 3-2 going in to the 3rd. 

The Optimus Club Novices kick off the season this Saturday in an exhibition game vs North The Muskoka Rock at 2pm.  The game will be played in Port Carling. Tournaments and games will be scheduled for the remainder of the season on September 22 at the Muskoka-Parry Sound Scheduling meeting held in Bracebridge.  All of the coaches and managers will get together and schedule the home and away games. All will be added to the calendar once this process is complete! Good Luck this Saturday!!!

All players trying out will be required to attend both today's practice and Thursdays practice. Myself and one other evaluator will meet with each child and parent individually after the practice on Sept 11. We will be discussing the up and coming season and ALL of the players evaluation numbers.  Each player has worked very hard and I hope this meeting will be informative to the player and parent moving forward. Hope to see everyone tonight!
