Welcome to the 2021/2022 Hockey Season
Submitted By Stephanie Earley on Wednesday, August 25, 2021
On behalf of the Parry Sound Hockey Club Executive, We want to welcome everyone to the start of the Parry Sound Hockey Club 2021-2022 Hockey Season. We have been working for a number of months on a number of key elements for the upcoming Hockey Season.

In the coming days we will be releasing a range of dates, which will include the dates for Parry Sound Hockey Club Open Skates for all Registered players to get our players on the Ice skating, which will also take place very shortly, dates for Rep Tryouts, as well as the expected season start for both Rep and Local League Teams. We are expecting a very big and exciting year of Hockey this year for our club, players, and families.PLEASE REGISTER! We want to encourage those who have not registered, to register as soon as possible. Don’t miss the upcoming Registration deadline of August 31 / 2021, to pay the regular Registration rate. Regular season rates will end on Aug 31st, so the date is fast approaching and we don’t want you to miss the big opportunity to save some money on your Registration Fees.It also allows family’s to schedule / plan for the upcoming hockey season as well as the Hockey Club to plan appropriately for player and team numbers as well as the demand for the number of Coaches and Ice time(s) required for the hockey season.

For those interested, please also consider Registering in our upcoming Parry Sound Hockey Club Golf Tournament, which will take place on Saturday Sep 18 / 2021. We hope to see as many of you there, as possible. The Parry Sound Hockey Club Golf Tournament is a great Fund Raiser for the club. It will help the club to pay for the many cost associated with every hockey season, as well as expand opportunity for the club to do more for players and teams, such as better Development Clinics. The Tournament is held at a great time of the year, it will be a great day with hopefully great weather, it is fantastic exercise and will be lots of fun for those who participate. We would appreciate the support from those who want to play and/or those sponsoring a hole or the event. Prize donations are also accepted and would also be appreciated. Please contact our Club Ways & Means Director Krista at [email protected] to register.

Please also continue to watch our Parry Sound Hockey Club website for more information coming very soon. As noted, we will be planning to get you information in the coming days and weeks, so we all can look forward to seeing teams and players on the ice as soon as possible. We are expecting a GREAT HOCKEY SEASON and hope to see you all there.

Thanks very much!
Dan Hildebrandt President
