Registration has opened, and the Hockey Club encourages players to register before the hockey season begins so that the Hockey Club can make effective decisions.

Particularly for the Local League, this causes some significant difficulties, as it pushes the whole season back while people are still registering.  Virtually all of the problems that occur have happened because teams are not finalized.  We can’t organize coaches, or the schedule until the numbers are finalized, which delays the start of games for those people who were registered on time.

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) has expanded the Respect in Sport program to full integration in the 2014/15 season. The OMHA became a complete ‘Respect in Sport’ integrated Association which will include all Team Officials, On-ice Volunteers, On-Ice Officials and at least one parent or guardian of each registered player. If you are registering a player for the first time, a parent must either complete the online Respect In Sport program or if you have already completed the course you must login to your RIS profile and add the player to your profile. If you requite assistance contact [email protected]
